Reverse Logistics

Every delivery has a possible return. Moving goods back should be as planned as moving them out.

  • Best for: Retailers, online sellers and distributors handling returns
  • Typical use: Return round
  • We ask for: Return volume per week or month, Collection locations
  • Availability: Confirmed for each request

Summary

Reverse logistics is the transport of goods in the opposite direction to a normal delivery: customer returns, exchanges, retail returns and reusable packaging collected and moved back to a warehouse, store or supplier. Gulf Elite Transport plans the collection and transport with you and provides a quotation before you commit. Inspection, repair, refurbishment and disposal are not part of this page.

Reverse Logistics overview

Returns are scattered: one item here, three items there. Collecting them one at a time is expensive, so returns are usually grouped into a collection round or taken back on an existing delivery route.

Gulf Elite Transport asks about the volume of returns, where they come from and where they go. We confirm what can be supported and provide a quotation. We move the goods; checking their condition or deciding what to do with them is the seller's process.

How it works

Goods type, size and volume.

Customer addresses or store locations.

03Set the destination

Hub, warehouse or supplier.

04Receive the quotation

Typical applications

Planning considerations

Grouping

Collecting returns in rounds costs less than one at a time.

Packing

Returns should be packed to travel safely; agree who provides packaging.

Documentation

Return references help the receiving side match items to orders.
