Import Shipment Planning
Planning an inbound shipment from supplier pickup to destination delivery.
Who needs it: Importers planning an inbound order
Most import delays begin with a document that does not match the goods or the other documents.
Import documentation coordination is keeping the information on an import's documents, such as the commercial invoice, packing list and transport document, accurate and consistent so that the shipment is not held up. Gulf Elite Transport helps coordinate the transport-side information. Preparing customs declarations and filing them are separate and are not assumed.

An import carries a small stack of documents: an invoice from the supplier, a packing list, and the transport document issued by the carrier. They describe the same goods, so they must agree. If the quantity on the invoice differs from the packing list, or the consignee name differs from the transport document, the shipment can be held.
Gulf Elite Transport helps customers organise this information so that what we need for delivery matches what the documents say. We do not prepare customs declarations or give legal advice on documents, and the requirements of each country and product should be confirmed with the relevant authority or a licensed broker.
