Full truckload (FTL) transportation is the road movement of cargo that occupies a whole vehicle for a single shipper, collected at one pickup location and delivered to one destination. Gulf Elite Transport assesses the load and the route, confirms availability, and provides a quotation before you commit.

Full truckload means the vehicle is used for your cargo alone. Less than Truckload and Part Load are for cargo that does not fill a vehicle. Road Freight Transportation is the parent page that helps you choose between them. If the same truckload repeats on set days, Scheduled Cargo Transportation applies.
| Component | What it means |
|---|---|
| Dedicated vehicle | A vehicle assigned to your load for the journey. |
| Point-to-point movement | Collection at one place and delivery at another. |
| Long-distance planning | Route and timing planned for longer hauls. |
| Scheduled truckloads | A repeating truckload planned on set days where required. |
| Quotation before commitment | A clear quotation for the whole movement. |
A full truckload is the simplest freight format to understand: the truck is yours for the journey. There are no other shippers' goods to coordinate and no intermediate drops planned for other customers, so the movement can be direct and the timing easier to commit to.
The question is whether your cargo really fills a vehicle. Gulf Elite Transport uses the weight, volume and packing you provide to decide, and to confirm which vehicle suits the load. Availability for your route and dates is confirmed before a quotation is agreed.
| Use case | Example |
|---|---|
| Factory to depot | A full vehicle of finished goods moved to a distribution point. |
| Supplier to site | A whole load delivered to a project. |
| Long-haul movement | A truckload moved across a long distance. |
| Repeating truckload | The same full load requested weekly. |
Weight, volume and packing.
Addresses, contacts and dates.
We confirm suitability and availability.
Direct movement to the agreed plan.
| Consideration | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is it really a full load? | Paying for a whole vehicle for a small load is rarely best. |
| Weight limits | Dense cargo can reach the weight limit before the space is full. |
| Loading time | Slow loading or offloading adds waiting time. |
| Return trip | Mention if a return load is possible. |
Availability depends on your locations and dates. We confirm it with you before any arrangement is made.

When your cargo fills a vehicle or when you need a direct movement with no other shippers' goods.
A part load uses only some of a vehicle. A full truckload uses all of it.
Yes. Send the route and dates and availability is confirmed before quoting.
